The Garden Spot
When I first became a mom, my husband started traveling for work and I was home a lot with a human that didn't find me as funny as I thought I was. I looked around and thought, maybe I'll take out that dying bush, maybe I'll plants some flowers, maybe I'll.....and here we are 18 years later. I've enjoyed learning about flowers, plants and more over the years including what works in our area and what doesn't. I've put a lot of time and money into rabbit food as well. We don't talk about liatris anymore. I'm glad you're here. Let's get gardening.
Hiring me funds Halloween
Once Covid struck, I found myself as a contractor with no contracts. It took me awhile to figure out how to pivot, but now you're looking at it. I have a secondary passion for halloween that I have been doing for just as long as gardening, even longer really. Not having income to fund Halloween made me sad so I decided to start offering garden design. I had already done it for friends and family, this just makes it official.
Basically, I still don't have a 12 foot skeleton in my life and this might help me with that.
I'm blown away
It's been a month since I decided to make my garden designing official. The response has been almost overwhelming. I was living quite the sloth lifestyle for the past year and now I'm quite busy! It turns out I can people just fine as long as we are talking about gardens. I can't thank everyone enough for supporting this one-women-flower-show. It means a lot to know people are enjoying my designs and recommending me to people. I even have a few out of state gardens, does that mean I've gone national? Ok, maybe just a Midwest region. For now. ;)
